The Roth glasses are made of reinforced polycarbonate. Polycarbonate (PC) is a material with extremely high mechanical strength but limited dynamic resistance. For this reason, our glasses are produced by adding a percentage of ABS—a polymer with elastic fibers—to the virgin PC granules, which greatly increases torsion and flex resistance. The lenses, also made of PC, provide inherent ultraviolet protection and maximum impact resistance. The result is a lightweight yet durable pair of glasses, ideal for everyday wear.
